Exam Overview and Language Review

Week 1 - 3

During the first week, you will get an introduction to the TOEFL, IELTS, APTIS, and TOEIC exams. You will learn about the structure of each exam, the types of questions asked, and the time limits for each section. In addition, You will review fundamental aspects of the English language, including grammar and vocabulary. The focus will be on reviewing parts of speech, verb tenses, sentence structure, and building vocabulary. You will also engage in reading comprehension practice, which is a critical skill for all of the exams. This week will provide you with a solid foundation to build upon throughout the rest of the course.

Writing and Speaking Practice

Week 4 - 6

During the week, you will focus on developing their writing and speaking skills. In the writing component, you will learn how to write effectively in different formats, including essays, letters, and summaries. You will learn how to structure your writing, present your arguments coherently, and use appropriate language. You will practice writing essays, letters, and summaries, and receive feedback on your writing. In the speaking component, you will practice your pronunciation, tone, and intonation. You will engage in various speaking exercises, including reading aloud, role-playing, and conversation practice. You will also practice listening comprehension, which is a key skill for all of the exams.

Test Strategies and Practice Tests

Week 7 - 9

During the third week, you will learn various test-taking strategies and techniques that will help you perform well on the exams. You will take practice tests for TOEFL, IELTS, APTIS, and TOEIC to become familiar with the format and types of questions. You will learn how to analyze and interpret data and figures, a critical skill in the exams. You will also learn time management strategies that will help them effectively allocate your time during the exams. We will identify your weak areas and develop improvement strategies for those areas. This week will provide you with a clear understanding of the exams and the strategies needed to perform well.

Advanced Test Techniques and Review

Week 10 - 12

During the final week, you will focus on advanced test techniques and strategies to improve your scores. You will take full-length practice tests for TOEFL, IELTS, APTIS, and TOEIC exams to simulate the actual testing conditions. You will review advanced techniques and strategies, including eliminating incorrect answer choices, making educated guesses, and managing test anxiety. Finally, you will receive tips and tricks to help you succeed on the exams. This week will provide you with the final touches needed to excel on the exams.

Where are you based?

Our offices are located in Kigali, Rwanda. All programs offered are presented in-person and online, therefore you can complete a course from home or on the go; you just need a stable internet connection and enough time to complete your course.

What support will my employees have?

Your employees will receive personalized support from their Head Tutor and Success Adviser throughout their learning journey to ensure course completion and learning gain. The Head Tutor offers academic support and responds to queries relating to the course material, and the Success Adviser assists with administrative queries such as extensions or possible challenges when uploading assignments.

What happens if I do not submit my employees to a certain course date in time? Can we take the next course?

Yes, the courses run throughout the year and we can schedule your team to be a part of the next course presentation. Your account manager can help resolve any other queries in this regard.

Can I see how my employees are doing? How can I track their progress?

Your account manager will provide you with performance reporting of your employees showing their progress, grades, and overall performance on the course.
