Commercial Interpretation

Week 1

In this week, students will learn how to interpret commercial content in English. This module will cover the key vocabulary and phrases used in commercial contexts, including sales and marketing, negotiations, and contracts. Students will practice interpreting commercial content in various formats, such as written documents, presentations, and videos.

Audio-Visual Interpretation

Week 2

In this week, students will learn how to interpret audio-visual content in English. This module will cover the key vocabulary and phrases used in audio-visual contexts, such as movies, TV shows, and news broadcasts. Students will practice interpreting audio-visual content by watching and listening to various examples, and then summarizing and discussing the content in English.

Interpretation for Project Management

Week 3

In this week, students will learn how to interpret project management content in English. This module will cover the key vocabulary and phrases used in project management contexts, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Students will practice interpreting project management content by analyzing case studies and real-life examples, and then discussing and presenting their findings in English.

Technical Interpretation for International Organizations

Week 4

In this week, students will learn how to interpret technical content in English for international organizations. This module will cover the key vocabulary and phrases used in technical contexts, such as engineering, science, and technology. Students will practice interpreting technical content by analyzing reports, data, and diagrams, and then summarizing and discussing their findings in English. Additionally, students will learn about the cultural and professional norms of international organizations and how to effectively communicate and collaborate in this context.

Where are you based?

Our offices are located in Kigali, Rwanda. All programs offered are presented in-person and online, therefore you can complete a course from home or on the go; you just need a stable internet connection and enough time to complete your course.

What support will my employees have?

Your employees will receive personalized support from their Head Tutor and Success Adviser throughout their learning journey to ensure course completion and learning gain. The Head Tutor offers academic support and responds to queries relating to the course material, and the Success Adviser assists with administrative queries such as extensions or possible challenges when uploading assignments.

What happens if I do not submit my employees to a certain course date in time? Can we take the next course?

Yes, the courses run throughout the year and we can schedule your team to be a part of the next course presentation. Your account manager can help resolve any other queries in this regard.

Can I see how my employees are doing? How can I track their progress?

Your account manager will provide you with performance reporting of your employees showing their progress, grades, and overall performance on the course.
